What is a Reader's Map?
Have you ever finished a book and not wanted it to end? I bet you have. Sometimes, when a book is so good, you want to visit places traveled in the book, both physical and metaphorical. A good book will make you want to travel to Italy, or read about making pasta, or sail the oceans with pirates of days past.
In our Reader's Map you will find books that lead you to undiscovered territories. But, like any good map, it will lead you back where you started so you can travel another path. The books on this map relate to many of the topics in Pulitzer Prize winner, Rick Bragg's, newest book The Prince of Frogtown. You will find trails leading you to books by other Pulitzer Prize winners, books about rural Appalachia, stories about working class Americans, coal miners, and journalists. This Reader's Map is brought to you by the librarians of the Jefferson County Library Cooperative.
